Sylvia DorothyROONEY(née James ) On the evening of Saturday 28th June 2025, Sylvia, affectionately known as 'Dink', daughter of the late Clifford and Hyacinth James of Cardiff and wife of the late Frederick Rooney, died peacefully at Hengoed Court Care Home in Swansea.
Sylvia is survived by her younger son Lloyd from her previous marriage to the late John Rowlands. Sadly her older son Jonathan died in 2022.
Sylvia's request for an unattended cremation is being respected, with all the arrangements being carried out by Gwyn Jones, Funeral Directors of Trallwn Road, Swansea.
